Is this somehow different to the JD sauce they sell in the supermarkets now? I'd imagine you could make a really nice glazing agent out of that if you reduced it down with some sugar.
I've no idea.....have not tried the Supermarket versions of JD sauce.

The sauce in TGI is not the same as the stuff in supermarkets and Costco.

You can't buy the TGI version sadly.

That was the best Burger I have EVER had...1/2lb patty (coated in glaze before cooking) with four rashers and cheese, in a lovely soft bap, topped with salad (got to be healthy wink ).

yum

No pics?
Seriously?
When I have something like that put in front of me the last thing on my mind is taking pics of it.
I don't play about with my food.

Yes seriously! I hoped to see this in the "photo of my dinner" thread, evidencing the "you can't buy it", "yes you can", "no you can't it's not the same", "yes it is" mystical magical JD Sauce for the rest of us addicts to drool over. frown
I'm curious now.

So when you have a meal put in front of you your first thought is "I must take a picture of that for the people on the internet" ????

Erm...oooooohkaaaay.

I love TGI's and always seem to have dishes with the JD sauce (what a coincidence). I usually get the chicken strips and double glazed JD ribs.

Went to America and tried them out there and have to say the ribs I have had in the uk were far better than the USA ones. However the last one I went to was in Times Square. Here I decided to try something new to the menu called JD pulled pork sandwich. Now I have to say this is the best thing I have ever eaten in a TGI's restaurant, hopefully it makes its way to the UK soon!
I can't wait to try pulled pork in NYC.
