A few recent ones.

Blurry chicken donner and chips -

Blurry mixed grill shawarma thing -

What was allegedly a philly cheesesteak. More like two day old donner and cheese!

Looks good to me, I could just ear that.
Not sure if that typo was intentional but it tasted horrible. I've had microwaved donner meat that tasted nicer.

where do you get your shawarma from Giblet? i normally go to the place opposite the library pub on the edge of town but can be hit and miss
I go to the same place (funnily enough it's called Shawarma). I ended up there last night despite already having had my dinner. Lamb shawarma meal, extra garlic sauce. They have always been spot on for me.

Your lurking days are over, the power of the filth is too much smile
Well spotted. He's one of us now!

That's the lamb shawarma meal from last night.

Naughty, naughty. Claiming a five star food hygiene rating on the menu.
Sneaky! I've eaten at plenty of places rated 1 though and I'm fine.

Well as fine as I'll ever be wink

Yes maybe, i'm feeling left out frown

Looking at your profile leads me to note you don't have to go that far away to find mucky takeaways btw:

Admittedly nowhere near on the same level as the Southerners though yuck
That place has always been a craphole but I've eaten from takeaways that were far worse. The worst one was probably the cheap fried chicken and pizza place in Harehills. It got shutdown after a customer found a cockroach in their pizza crust. The chicken burgers I used to get from there were always fine mind.

That looks gourmet, even the presentation is up there. In fact it looks 10x better than the crap burger I got at the Jamie's Italian in Leeds last week.
Not been to Jamie's Italian but this burger was from Al Freshco who are in Hyde Park. Not a gourmet location in the slightest!

Didn't expect that much love for the burger.

As above, that looks delicious giblet. Was it?
It was good, needed something to give it a bit of a kick though. Will get some jalapenos in it next time

Giblet can you remember the name of that takeaway? I live in Harehills and just intrigued if its one I've been to as there have been a few shut-down near me!

Had few dirty takeaways recently but keep forgetting to post up here! Think as my punishment I'll have to get one this weekend.
It was called Munchies. They used to do cheapo chicken fillet burger meals etc.

One from a few hours ago

It's a little less grim up north

Must be linked to that Northern Powerhouse stuff I keep hearing about!

Further north than me. Stick your hotels postcode into the usual takeaway sites and I'm sure you will find a fair few places that sell them. This is the 3rd different takeaway I have tried a parmo from in Leeds, none of them have been as good as the ones I used to get when working in Durham.

Another week another late night parmo. I need to stop this and get back to the gym ffs.

Mother India on Stanningley Rd in Armley. No fancy box this time -

Not a bad portion size. Weak attempt at a salad -

I'd class it as average in comparison to others I have tried in Leeds. Lacking in any real flavour, had to use some chilli sauce and some awesome Polish mayo to make it less bland.

Parmo should come with red onions.
Yup. Thinly sliced red onions are a must. I couldn't be arsed taking the time to slice some at home once I'd started tucking into the parmo.
