In all honesty i have eaten at some very nice places which has been reflected in the price. However i do not live near to many of them, since they are mostly in central London. Nando's offers what i believe is good food at a good price, but i guess we can all afford different levels of cars and different levels of food. Not to say anyone is right or wrong, but me, the wife and the kids have always enjoyed the food and our time at Nando's. Not more than once a month mind.

Just trying to justify the cost of buying a new one.

One of the (strange) appeals is that you often see the Nando's staff eating in a corner. I guess if you work there all day and then eat it, must show that it is regarded reasonably healthy and well prepared.

Chicken salads are quite often a side order, usually very nice.

Previous employee (10 years ago) of Nandos. The food was looked after very well, chicken does NOT come in pre cooked, only pre marinated. It was also only half Spatch-cocked, part of my morning set up involved finishing that off. They then go into an oven (not all at once!), then onto the grill. Burgers just go on the grill.

Chicken itself is one stop above treatment of fast food chicken. Barn not battery. Not free range though. Only thing I would suggest is not to be the first person through the door at lunch. Occasionally some chicken that's not grilled is re used. It goes into the fridge, fat is taken off in the morning, back in oven then ready for grill. Tastes 80% the same but is certainly dryer.
Thanks for the information. Could you tell me why however (as pointed out) the food is never hot, luke warm. One of the reasons why the takeaway tastes awful as when you get it home, the chips are soggy and the chicken is cold. Always better to eat it there.
