Which Hawksmoor?
Discussion
Hi folks, planning a trip to London in June to see Guns N' Roses for my birthday and then a nice lunch on the Sunday.
Coming down from Scotland and not been to London for years.
Got my heart set on Hawksmoor as I was given the book a few years back.
The problem is, which one is best? There appears to be new branches opening all the time. A central one would be preferred and steak will definitely be what I am having.
Which one do you guys recommend?

Thanks guys, going to go with Seven Dials or Spitalfields I think as the missus has been to Air Street before. Down for 2 days so just need to decide whether to go for dinner, Sunday roast or for one of the amazing looking breakfasts?!
Cheers again for all the advice, looking forward to this

Had a roast there at Seven Dials and still stuffed.
What a roast I must say, probably one of the best roasts I've had out at a restaurant!
Also shared the smoked salmon and potted smoked mackerel between 3 as a starter and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All delicious!

Just to put closure to this we went ti Hawksmoor Seven Dials yesterday and it was fantastic, went for Bone Marrow and onions to start which was great, then a huge Steak with the Sunday roast trimmings, and beef fat triple cooked chips. It was delicious, service was friendly and attentive, well worth the wait.
Oh and to whoever suggested the 'Shaky Pete's Ginger brew' I must say thank you, what a drink, can not think of anything that would hit the spot better in the roasting temperatures of the weekend
We were lucky with our food choices as a whole had the best eggs and bacon I have ever had out near Victoria on Sat morn and a cracking burger at a pub out in Spitalfields.

Sounds like you nailed the food choices all weekend - nice work.
And you're very welcome on Shaky Pete's Ginger Brew
Thanks _Neal_ it is a lovely drink, so refreshing And you're very welcome on Shaky Pete's Ginger Brew
The server actually printed out the recipe/mix for us so we can attempt to make our own which was a nice touch!
If anyone needs a nice brunch or the aforementioned fabulous bacon and eggs then this is where we tried and it was great-

Wow. That's ace. Similar to the online recipe I used. Hmmmm. Might have one now. :-£
Enjoy I will have to order the beer as nowhere up here stocks it, so a few days before I can make any! I have just found a link to the tankards they use so going to get them ordered as well

Following on from the many recommendations on this forum I am off to the Hawksmoor at Borough Market tomorrow.
Obviously I will be having steak, not sure what the Mrs will choose but are there any hidden gems on the menu that are worth a try?
The Shakey Petes ginger ale is an absolute must. As a starter the potted beef with Yorkshire pudding is lovely, the girlfriend who didn't want a starter proceeded to eat most of mine! I had the bone marrow as a side dish and that was also nice.Obviously I will be having steak, not sure what the Mrs will choose but are there any hidden gems on the menu that are worth a try?
Enjoy
