Lots come up on the search but I have no idea which ones are good as in good amount and good service.

Just cleared out ages old stuff and need some more. Found on jar with best before 1993 on it, a lot had not been used for 15 years or more.

Do you not have an Indian grocer nearby?

Usually lots of choice in fresh spices and reasonably priced.
Unfortunately no. And not liking the usual suspect outlets.

Been using them a while- their pre mix stuff is pretty good too.
Cheers. The methi leaves I threw out turned to dust by looking at them.... they have them in there. And they have kalonji, methi seeds....

All the I threw out.

Thanks, my quandary was knowing others had had good service and the product was OK.

Searches are a dark art. What normally happens is I search, find sod all and ask the question and someone pops up links asking why didn't I search ...... silly

Not got anything yet as my storage jars also went out and need to replenish the lot. They never had a good seal and I had too much all told and some still in the bags I had bought it in 16+ years ago! It was a mess. One jar was best before 1993.

Hoping to get some better storage jars and fewer and a small selection of essential spices ordered. Hopefully going to Cardiff today to get the storage then deal with the spices by the end of the week.

Cheers.

I was going to buy the separate ingredients but those packs look handy. Note to self, small sandwich cases for opened packs.

I do like making my own garam masala though so still need the loose stuff.

Should keep me going then. Get some orders in this weekend. Couldn't even find a decent sized packet of coriander yesterday.
