I have recently started cooking Indian food and many of the recipes require marinades to be made however they are in small quantities so I need to blend them. The problem with this is that our blender is a 'normal' tall one which is great for larger quantities but not so good for small stuff. It appears that the blade is too high in the base to properly mix the ingredients.

Can anyone recommend a small blender with a low blade?

Or are we looking at a large mortar and pestle?

Thanks smile

Where did you get yours? They all seem to be in the USA...

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks all thumbup

Plenty to look at here...cheers smile

I think it all depends on the height of the blade really when it comes to blending small amounts. Logic would suggest that a hand held one would suit as the ingredients could be pushed into the edge of the bowl to get mushed up...
