Good news first: Makers of one of the most delicious chicken sandwiches has recently opened their store at the Oracle Mall in Reading!!

Bad news: LGBT has pressurised the Oracle mall not to renew the 6 month initial lease and so the restaurant will be closed after 5 months. mad

Please show your support for Chick fil A by contacting: comments@theoracle.com

Funny, the same LGBT group doesn't protest against Harrod's. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Qatar

Oh no I guess you’ll have to get your fried chicken at one of the thousand chicken shops that doesn’t fund conversion therapy.
Yes I guess I'll just have to resort to the thousand Halal chicken shops that mostly are owned by those that believe being gay is a sin punishable by death.

How many chicken shop owners did you survey to get that information?
I don't really need a survey to know which shops in London, Birmingham, Bradford, Luton etc are owned by people who condemn gays. Yet I don't see any LGBT protesting outside their restaurants. Just don't believe in bullying tactics to close down a restaurant. If you don't like it, just don't do business there. This is pure intimidation by a group to literally scare the landlord into cancelling the lease.

If the food was crap, fair enought the Oracle ending the lease early.. as it is, they knew who they were taking on and have capitulated to the protestors
Shame on the oracle managment.
Agreed! The management should've told the LGBT bullies to fk off, not crap their pants at the first sign of a rainbow outside their window.

Really? Shame they decided they didn't want to be associated with religious bigots?
Lame argument. So you truly believe the management had no idea about the Chick fil a's owner's beliefs regarding gays? Really?

Plus do you know Chick fil a hires staff from all kinds of backgrounds, religious beliefs etc? Not to mention the whole controversy started from something the owner said 7 years ago? There's religious bigotry in India, so let's ban Indian takeaways restaurants, Religious bigotry in Islam so let's ban middle eastern/asian restaurants businesses as well. So let's punish everyone just because you don't agree with someone's personal beliefs. fk off!

Are they actually any good, or do the Yanks get excited by them because their KFC didn't do burgers until recently, so Chick-Fil-it (sic) seemed exotic?
Far better than the KFC which is even worse tasting in the UK. At least in the USA Chick fil a's customer service was stellar and a pleasure being served by their staff, unlike the indifferent servers at KFC here.

I choose not to support businesses or buy products from companies or countries if I dont agree with their policies or ethics , I guess that's just a generation divide millennials seem to prefer to actively protest and attack.

Well Chick Fil A is closely linked to the WinShape Foundation who funds the National Christian Foundation who currently have a minister in Uganda campaigning closely with the Ugandan government for anti LGBT laws which include the Death Penalty. I'd say the death penalty is pretty much the definition of erasing LGBT peoples existence.
This is not true btw and has been debunked! Chick Fil a's owners never gave money to kill or convert homosexuals in Uganda or anywhere else. They simply supported their stance against same-sex marriages. Please check this: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/uganda-murder-ga...
