Inspired by the similarly titled red wine thread. I drink red but like a nice cold glass of white when it’s warm; frankly I know even less about this than I do red. I’ve only alluded to Daybreak as it’s on the go at the moment, I don’t think it will reappear. Are the whites from the red makers I like such as Casillero Diablo worth a punt? What’s everyone’s go to?

Presuming we’re all red drinkers on here then given the lack of replies! I’ll get exploring the suggestions on that thread instead smile

I find New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough to very reliable and decent value
Got an I heart wines of this and it’s doing a satisfactory job this weekend. Might stretch to the oyster bay one that seems recommended

As per the suggestion above, I finally got round to it and it was indeed very pleasant

Any good Pinot Grigio recommendations in budget? I think I prefer these to the SBs I’ve been trying out of late.

Evening all. Having spent autumn and winter to date on sub-£10 reds from the other thread, I’d be appreciative of suggestions for whites that aren’t oyster bay or similar kiwi Sauvignon Blancs smile

The Vielle Ferme is one of my go to whites, particularly in the Summer. Another sub £10 white to look out for is any white Rioja if they are sub £10, particularly from Aldi or Lidl.
This is really interesting as I wasn’t bowled over by the red they do so will give the white a try
