Lets be honest none of them crappy indie bands will ever crack America, the only place they seem popular is Northern England.
Whilst we're here, might we ask what music you're into? Raygun said:
Glad you agree, no one has ever put a Happy Mondays album on a Linn turntable.
I was being sarcastic. And you are wrong about the Happy Mondays.

Wasn't there some statement when Moyles joined where he said words to the effect of "they've told me I can play anything, ANYTHING, I want"? Doesn't come across like that!
Yesterday morning Moyles was redeeming himself slightly when he mentioned the late great Chic drummer Tony Thompson, me thinking he will play one of them great Chic tracks recorded at the Power Station but no he decided to play that mid 80s awful cover of Get It On by The Power Station, not one of TT's or Robert Palmer's finest moments.andySC said:
Changes afoot at 6 & none of them are particularly good I reckon.
Keaveney leaving the breakfast show which will be taken over by Lauren Laverne. Mary Ann Hobbs doing early mornings instead of Lauren & the biggest & sttiest shakeup is that RadMac are leaving afternoons for a weekend slot. Keaveney & Matt Everitt taking over this show.
Not impressed, Keaveney in the commute works for me & RadMac are the best thing on 6. Mary Ann is beyond pretentious & gets on my nerves.
Putting RadMac on at 7am at the weekend is akin to telling them to fk off.Keaveney leaving the breakfast show which will be taken over by Lauren Laverne. I think they are great at what they do and I hope they get an offer on commercial radio somewhere as I would definitely tune in if they did.
MA Hobbs is ok for a late night slot I suppose (not my cup of tea) but she'll have about 500 listeners after a couple of months trying to do a daytime show.
