Just been announced, the new album from Roger Waters.

Titled "Is This The Life We Really Want?”

I think it's been 25 years since his last studio album.

On tonights London evening news they had a bit of an interview with Waters and Mason about an up and coming Pink Floyd exhibition in May.

I've been a fan of his since my childhood days. He could be the angriest person going and I'd still listen and enjoy anything he puts out.

(Apart from "Songs from the body", that was utter tripe!)

There is an interview on PlanetRocks website where RW mentions that the album is still being mixed and the release date of 19th May is mentioned.

That sort of fits in with his tour of the US which kicks off on the 26th May.

He's supposed to be performing on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which airs on CBS on Monday night. So hopefully some video will appear on Tuesday.

Album is out today

Currently working my way through it, no doubt it'll take a few listens to grow on me but I like it so far.

(Must admit his singing voice hasn't really improved with age)

I think it works better as a complete album rather than listening to the tracks in isolation. I've played it a few times now and I like it.
