Music legends who died young who you still miss?

I usually go to 100 or so gigs a year mainly tribute bands but lots of originals too. 1960 ish to 1990 ish is where my interest lies. All music from Iron Maiden to C and W.
I was recently thinking about the tragic early deaths of so many music icons.
Talking to Russell Thompkins (Stylistics front man) last year he reminded me of the horrific end to the life of Marvyn Gaye a wonderful singer. I still find the young deaths of people like Lennon ...Gaye ...Bolan ...Shannon ...Morrison ...Curtis ...Marriott ...Cobain...etc etc really sad as a music fanatic.
Who do you miss the most from a music legend point of view?

Some awesome names there.
When Marvin Gaye was murdered by his dad, Diana Ross said that she felt she'd lost a brother. They did some fantastic songs together of course. This one really choked me though, because young people in all walks of life have been destroying themselves with booze or drugs since forever, but to be killed by your own father??? I'm trying to think of the soul song which was a tribute to Gaye, can't think of it right now.

Lionel Ritchie, Night Shift. Well, The Commodores, but Lionel was the main man.
Song also references Jackie Wilson who died 1984 the same as Marvin.

Great calls for Sandy Denny. It seems a bit suss how she died in my book too.
