Off Road Garden Gator / Quad for a 6 year old...???!!!

Folks,

Wonder if you can help... Have just moved to a new pad with about an acre of garden - mostly woodland rather than 'crown green bowls'.

I'm trying to find a decent 'garden gator / tractor / quad' that's less of a toy and more of a "serious" vehicle that my 6yr old can use around the garden - helping me carry logs, bags of compost, pulling a trailer etc. I'm not interested in the Toys R Us type blow moulded stuff - but wondered if there's anything suitable that anybody might know? He has a quad at the inlaws which he enjoys - but I'm trying to find something as a 'workhorse' rather than a plaything - hence my preference for a small gator style vehicle or small 'tractor'!

Any ideas / help gratefully received!

I'm thinking more along the lines of a toylander or similar rather than a 'full size' quad. I agree with the sentiment re big quads - I'd never let my 6 yr old on them! I've seen a few variants - but think £4k is a bit spicy for something he'll grow out of in a couple of years. I suppose I need a 'cheaper' toylander!
