I spend a fair bit of time in muddy fields, plus, any snow and we are isolated, so rather than winter wheels and tyres, I went for AT "winter" wheels and rims :-) (same as I did on my D3) . Get's all the blue-rinse brigade in their Yetis looking bewildered.

16" alloys £300, Insa Turbo ATs £240.

Get a very small amount of contact on one side only - front, inner plastic arch liner on full lock. Shouldn't touch after a few 1000 miles.

As a bonus, the speedo is now bang on :-)
