Just after some advice.

I drive a Renault Trafic (I know it’s not off road) but I’m considering putting some 4x4 tyres on it. Maybe the KO 2’s.

A) I like the aggressive look which seems trend at the minute

B) I’m a window cleaner and do a lot of work in the countryside up and down muddy tracks etc

I’ve no need currently for a 4x4 pickup and I also carry a 1000ltr water tank that wouldn’t fit in a truck either, so this is where my thinking is taking me.

I currently have standard 16 inch wheels, could these tyres go straight on or would it need lifting for clearance? Any help any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for the message.
It makes sense I suppose that if it’s the size it will fit (stupid me) I wondered if the ‘chunkier’ stance would affect it but I guess not.

I spoke to someone last year with BFG ATs on a merc sprinter and he seemed to think they made a worthwhile improvement off road with no major downsides. That's maybe not saying much though because the sprinter I once hired was ridiculously useless on even very mild tracks!

A 1000l ibc will easily fit in the back of a pickup if you do want a proper 4x4.

Thanks for replying. It’s not just a tank, I need to have reels, pumps etc also. I would be grateful for any suggestions though.

I do really like my Trafic to be honest and have been looking at where buying some steel wheels and adding some A/T tyres. The wheels I have on only have 205 tyres so I need to go wider to accommodate the tyres. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am close to the limit but I check regularly to keep an eye on it. 👍

This is the set I’m thinking about. Are they load rated? Van tyres seem to be so would that apply to these?
