Feel free to share your experiences and ask for advice...

I've done the SG Petch Sprint Championship at Teesside for the last couple of seasons. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt plenty. The value for money is absolutely fantastic! I also don't have to travel far and it doesn't take up my whole weekend. I can run in the top five in a good day, and I've had decent races with the guest drivers before. Two things have started to annoy me though;

1) The main thing is that everyone seems to have got a bit too comfortable with contact, the racing is suffering for it. I actually pulled into the pits after a couple of laps today, I was not happy with the driving standards of others and felt like a big accident wasn't far away

2) The kart variation is huge, I don't mind at the price it is, but I'm thinking I'd rather spend more to get a consistent grid

I'm thinking about doing something else instead, so I'm hoping some people with experience in other stuff might have some stories to share? Personally I'd like to make some friends in the paddock, race closely against people that are there to have fun whilst staying competitive (I know there will always be someone that takes it too seriously, but I'd prefer to avoid a grid full of prima donnas). I'm more interested in racing than going fast, close racing in well matched hire four strokes interests me more than testing in some mega fast two stroke. I'm ok with travel, but something midlands/northern based would be preferable. I'd love to experience a few more circuits.

It would be great to hear what people think of;
Club 100
Covkartsport
Dmax
The arrive and Drive class in BPEC

Alternatively;
Owner driver stuff at a very amateur level, particularly prokart extremes but if costs can be kept under control I'd love to race two strokes
Teesside owner driver spirits
What else?

At the moment I'm either thinking of doing a test session in a Prokart extreme with a view to starting to enter the Sprints at Teesside or picking one of the National arrive and drive Championships to visit and see what I think, but I'd love to hear from some people's first hand experiences before I do that, over to you!
