Organising a regularity rally

Hi all

I help run the Porsche Enthusiasts Club in the East Mids and I’ve been fancying the idea of organising a small, low key regularity event for local members.

The trouble is, I’ve got no idea how to do it! It would most likely be for 10-15 cars, over 2-3 hours, in the Nottingham / Leicester area.

Has anyone got any advice? Do I need some kind of MSA permit? Do I need to notify the authorities in any way?

I’m just trying to get my head around how complex it would be to arrange or whether I’m biting off more than I can chew for a small club with only a handful of volunteers.

Any advice or direction to resources would be massively appreciated!

We’re not affiliated to the MSA. The idea about contacting local MSA clubs is a good one. I’ll look a few up and see whether we can get together to organise something.
