Winter race series in the sun

As the title says really. Does anyone know any club race series in Southern Europe over the winter. I was in Portugal in September and I visited Portimao and watched some Citroen C1 racing but couldn't get up close to ask around.
Looks like I'll be spending some time there over the winter so I want to see if I can get some racing in.
