Helmet elegibility question

Is the snell mark SA 2000 still elegible and for how long?

Hoping to buy a secondhand helmet for my son and this is the snell mark. It was new in 2001. It's a omp agv formula.

Any help greatly appreciated.

P.s He's doing formula ford if that makes any difference.
