After your experience with the Locost I think 350bhp is more than enough- there is no need to go over the top

So how much over your original budget have you gone?

It sounds like most Ultima builders go down the same route. Its a shame that stig did not get the American Speed supercharged 700bhp engine. I think he wimped out on that one. Locost- 69 bhp=no, Ultima - 350bhp=no, Ultima 525bhp (more than you need)=no, Ultima 600bhp=brown smoke, Ultima 700bhp= ring Pampers.

ME That is if I get the head mods done this winter. I liked the look of the exhaust headers at the SE/Southern meet yesterday so that could help.
