I have just started my build but already want to modify it.
The lower section of the rear bulkhead is skinned inside the cockpit and can be double skinned.
If my reading of the build, and the various pictures I can access, is correct it looks like the rest of the bulkhead is one skin of GRP with possibly carpet on the inside.
Has anybody Ali skinned this section on the cockpit side? Can anybody see why not? You can also include up to an inch of insulation if you wished.
The only thing I will have to do is form a pocket in the skin around the seat belt mounts.
I have not bought the skin kit so can produce any size panel I wish.
Any thoughts?

I would not use foam if possible but if you have fitted both skins you will have to.
The normal B&Q spray foam should do it. I would suggest clamping timbers across the panel both sides to stop it swelling. You will need to use quite a number of holes to inject, vent & monitor the progress of the fill. When they cavity fill houses they drill all the holes and put sticks in them. They then fill from the bottom. When the sticks start to move in the holes higher up then they know how far the fill has gone. Do the job slowly, inject some then leave it for a few hours as it continues to expand for quite a long time. It also expands better if everything is wet so spray water into the upper holes after each injection.
