Front splitter on GTR

I have been contemplating taking off the front splitter on my GTR to ease driving in my town. I don't want to start scraping the front of the car when I am going up curbs by my driveway etc... Trouble is I feel lke if I unbolt the front splitter that the car would have no bracing for the front panels. Anybody have a solution or does everyone have reinforced brackets on their cars?
