KEF Ci160CRds ceiling speaker (via VEX)

Just a cheeky post to say thanks to VEX for some sound (geddit?) advice regarding ceiling speakers, and subsequently supplying some KEF Ci160CRds ceiling speakers.

When we replaced the kitchen a few years ago we put in some cheap Adastra speakers (PA / tannoy type things) with a (VEX supplied) Sonos Connect. They’ve been OK, but we found ourselves using them more and more... so replacement beckoned.

Took some advice and had a look at a few brands, but the KEFs got decent reviews so decided to go ahead.

A day later, they turned up.



Some choice swearing and the old speakers popped out. Easily replaced and now sat enjoying far tighter bass and greater detail and clarity - beyond what I expected from a ceiling speaker.

In all the photos I see only a single couple of connectors, not 2 couples that I would expect for connecting the left as well as right channel.

2x pairs of terminals...
