Samsung are getting right on my tits. I have this existing wall mount for my current TV;

WMN450: https://www.samsung.com/uk/tv-accessories/wall-mou...

We've got a new TV arriving next week and Samsung Chat says the WMN450 isn't compatible and I need the WMN650;

WMN650: https://www.samsung.com/uk/tv-accessories/mini-wal...

So I've ordered that and spoke to Samsung Chat again to check this is compatible. Now they're saying it isn't and I need the WMN750;

WMN750: https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theate...

They all look exactly the same!

Samsung can't tell me what the differences are between them, only that my existing mount nor the one I've ordered is compatible.

The manual for the new TV shows this regards wall mounting;

Of which my existing WMN450 mount meets all the criteria. Anyone want to take a guess as what differs or are Samsung just trying it on?

Is absolutely can, it has a safe load of 50kg and a max of 200kg and the TV weights 18kg.

If you click this link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/tv-accessories/wall-mou...

It's somewhat telling that the box shown is for the WMN350!

I suspect the contents of each version are identical and it's simply the packaging that's had a refresh for new model of Samsung's.

Received my WMN650 this morning

All of the actual mounting parts between the two are identical, the only difference are which M screws are included;

WMN450;

S-1 M8x28
S-2 M8x35
S-3 M6x28
S-4 M5x15
S-5 M8x40
S-6 M8x30
S-7 M8x42

WMN650:

S-2 M8x35
S-4 M5x15
S-5 M8x40
S-6 M8x30
S-7 M8x42
S-8 M8x64
S-9 M8x47

Given that the new TV uses M8x41-43 then I can use S-7 which already exist in my WMN450!

I got it mounted but I'm not particularly comfortable with it. My previous TV used Vesa 400 so the brackets were spaced further apart, the new one uses VESA 200 so they're much closer meaning there's nothing really to support the TV at the sides. It's solid, it's not going to come off the wall but I just feel like it's concentrating all the weight onto one small area.
