Hi all,

We are about to move into our new apartment and after 3 years living with a 43” Samsung, I’m going to treat myself to a big TV (either 55 or 65 - I need to measure up the wall first).

I had my heart set on a LG C9 or CX but a recent YouTube review said the reflections are bad which is a worry. I want something I can watch movies and sports on during the day, and our place is south facing with a large balcony and floor to ceiling windows, so if there is any chance of reflections, I suspect it will be an issue.

I’m therefore looking for the best CX alternative that works in a brighter room. What would be the best alternative - I’m flexible on Budget as I tend to keep TVs for a long time (and I’m about to get a fat tax refund that I’d only waste on pointless stuff like school fees)

After a lot of research I think the Samsung 95T might fit the bill - has anyone got one of these as a day time set in a bright room?

I just bought a CX and it’s not as reflective as I thought, it’s on the opposite wall to a south facing window with just a simple venetian blind and it’s fine with the blind closed. Great screen.
I ended up with the CX as well in the end - i agree that it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. The odd scene can pick up some reflections during daytime, but I don’t often watch tv during the day, and if I do, it’s usually sports highlights or cartoons (for my son of course...)
