We all seem to be doing a lot of shopping and thought we could have a thread to go Oooohhh-Aaaahhh at new shiny things.

It's been a busy few months for me on my kit, over the last few months I have stumped up for.

NAD T778 - A fantastic piece of kit. Sounds great to me, has a fantastic streamer built in, and Dirac is a game changer.

Q Acoustics Concept 40 - Picked up for decent money as they are discontinued. They sound great! Replacing a pair of Q acoustis 2050i and they are significantly better especially in the upper mids/treble. (Got an unexpected bonus from work so these only cost a couple of hundred quid).

Last buy totally not least, Just ordered a Gyrodec/T3. I have wanted one for so long. Much more turntable than I need, but look at it!

Not a fan of the Gyrodec sound (they haven't really kept up with technology, it's still a late 70s/early 80s turntable design, things have moved on a long way since then), but i could watch one all day - are you buying the full version or the SE?
Also how long is the waiting list now?
I heard one years ago and have lusted after one for seemingly ever. But yes, if I am honest I'm getting it as much for what it is than what it does.

Went for the Full version for practicality/dust mitigation, and I was told 14 weeks when i ordered.

I have a Funk firm GETT! at the minute. It really is a fine sounding little turntable. I may experiment with the arm on the Gyrodec.

There is also a Dual CS510 in the loft that I was given. Gave it a service/clean/lube/belt and it is pretty good. they made them well in West Germany!

Whoop Whoop.

First impressions. It's a bit of a pain to set up, but sounds amazing.
