The video (from a hidden camera) shows a Samsung Repair Tech visiting a guy's house.

A technician has been called out to investigate an issue with a guy's tv

He suggests the guy go and reset the circuit breaker (a ruse to make him leave the room)

He has a quick glance around, then takes out a knife / box cutter and slices the TV screen a to void the warranty.

The original story was on Reddit, but the post has now been removed. Luckily the cat is out of the bag and the video is now in YouTube.

Somehow I doubt this is a one off or specific to Samsung.

What would be the point in this? Can't be arsed with the repair?.
Probably, Louis Rossman (A YouTuber that rants about right to repair) speculated that the technician probably wanted to knock off the the day and didn't want to have to wait for a part or do the repair.

Whatever the reason I hope the gets loses his job.
