Changing to Region1 please

Does anyone have a set of commands for changing either a Panasonic DMR ES15 or a Proline DVD15601 to region 1 please? A supplier has sent me some technical discs from the States and set them to Region 1 rather than region free - muppet!!!

The Lappy route is what I have done to get me out of trouble, I forgot it had a video output until a moment hit


Can anyone recommend a DVD or Blueray/DVD player that is multi region please? It is for work use and I need component or S-VHS outputs to get it into the edit suite. A firewire/1394 output would be even better!

Cheers for the links - I'll get one of those listed.

It is amazing how you can have a digital edit suite and a disc full of 1s and 0s yet to get those into the suite is still a complete bum sometimes!!! Discs with just a single .vob are fine but ones that come from DVD cameras and recorders can be a right pain and it is sometimes just easier to import as a video signal.
