Onkyo TX-SR507 to replace a Denon 3801?
Discussion
Currently have a Denon 3801 amp that i purchased around 8 years ago, after 4 house moves all does not seem well. The rear right speaker out does not work, the component out does not work and the feed to the sub does not work, ofcourse it may be the speakers and cable, and i will test that (somehow??)but i think its day is over!
Unfortunatly, not exactly flush at the moment, so when I saw the price of the Onkyo TX sr507 I wondered, given the rate tech moves on, would this be a reasonable equivalent for my Denon?
I'm the first to admit I dont have a 'keen' ear regarding sound quality, and we do not play much music, its 80pct for home cinema use.
Also FYI its running Kef eggs, the 2005 originals!
