Hi All,

Following the success of last year's run-in (22 cars from multiple regions) I'm once again organising something similar for this year.

Meeting Point Details:

SUNDAY 9th APRIL From 09:00am for 09:30am departure. There's plenty of space in the car park with a tea wagon usually on site. There's also a Costa Coffee next door.

B&Q
Priors gate,
Eaton Socon,
St Neots,
CAMBRIDGESHIRE.
PE19 8EL

Map:

The Route:

The run will be similar to last year, initially heading north up the A1 before heading out to the west to some nice sweeping country roads. The exact route is still to be finalised, but I'll have limited printed directions available on the day. It should be about a 45 minute run. I'm doing everything I can to avoid a cycling event this time!

Best Regards,
Olly

Do you know your route yet?
Largely it is anticipated that we'll follow much of last year's route (Learning from last year - I can't find any published details of cycle events in the area thumbup )

Without going into a detailed plan here, the route will take in:

Great Staughton
Kimbolton
Old Weston
Winwick
Great Gidding
Elton
Wansford

then (depending on time) either:

A1(M) to Stamford

or

A47 (East) for 1 mile
Barnak
Pilsgate

You are of course welcome to pick up the crocodile at any of the above.

Cheers,
Olly

Disclaimer: Route subject to change without notice if I discover a cycle event to avoid!!!! smile

Great, as with last year, I'll pick you up in Glatton as you come through.

Hi John,

I'm not planning on coming through Glatton itself. Perhaps the junction of the Bullock Rd and High Haddon Rd is a suitable joining point?

Cheers,
Olly

Hoping to be there, fingers crossed for no rain. How many you expecting Ollie?
Hi Chris,

I'm not sure on numbers. Last year I tried to keep track of who might join in, but it was more hassle than it was worth so this time I'm just putting it out there, and whoever turns up does so. From the discussions I've had I'm anticipating the same as last year, if not more.

Cheers,
Olly

Great run in Olly, must have been 25 or so cars.

There was a guy filming us as we departed B&Q, would be great to see the vid if anyone on here?
Hi Chris,

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I counted 30 cars at B&Q just before we set off, and we picked up 2 more (that I know of) en-route.

The guy you saw on the way out of the car park was Phil Robertson, a Cerbera owner who was unable to attend in his TVR. He was taking stills, some of which he's posted in the TVR Cerbera Facebook page:
