Good Fish and chips and a super breakfast was always assured in the past, let’s hope it’s not changed !!

Then I will be your poor cousin in my old vRS.

Does it have a LSD?
It’s got Audis 4WD Quattro system. Never had any wheels spinning up even with everything turned off smile

Still a slim chance I’ll be there in our 3000m race car.

Really! At Brands 2 weeks ago the inner front wheel was spinning on every bend, even at 80mph.

An LSD is on my list.
Sounds fun

Looking forward to this. Not taken my Chimaera on track (but have done a few track days in other people cars), I’m in the novice section.

Any tips on prep for the day? What tyre pressures are best? I’m on standard wheels 15Front and 16Rear. Normally run 23-25psi. Do I want to have this any different for the day? Presume I want to make sure fluids all topped up but do I want to have a full tank etc.

Any pointers welcome as someone else has always sorted these things in the past! Be good to go there ready rather than be faffing on the day.

I will be leaving home at 7.50am - the benefits of living 10 mins away! smile
A good starter would be to put another 3 or 4 lbs into the tyres and then check them hot when you come in after a least the first session. They'll all have gone up in pressure, which is ok, but I'd expect you'll need to drop the nearside front's pressure to be in line with the other three. Remember to put then back to you normal set pressure (hot) before you leave.

You seem to have covered fluids. I wouldn't run a full tank, maybe 3/4. Fuel is available on site. Check of wheel bearings is advisable.

Make sure everything is secure in the car and enjoy. smile

Sessions are 20 mins so you'll have 40 minutes gap between sessions. Last 2 or 3 TVRCC days at Cadwell have gone to open pit after lunch.

The most important advice is to drive within your limits if it is wet - a good proportion of the grass at the side of the track slopes downhill to the Armco, and you don't stand the slightest chance of stopping the thing on wet grass if you stray off the hard stuff.
Would suggest its not a bad idea driving within your limits if its dry too, cars don't slow much on dry grass either wink

Think you just missed a comma.. biggrin
