Just been watching James May in his cars of the people.

Prompted a bit of youtubing.

Is there a better start to a film, ever, than this? Gives me the full goosebumps.

Probably not critically great, but those roads, that car, that noise, the "sticking it to the man". I am suddenly 12 again. Good stuff. Makes me happy.

No chance.

For me it would have to be ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST.

Arguably that starting scene goes on for 2 or 3 scenes.
Good that.

I loved it when I was 12 as it was very hard to see Countachs anywhere.

Now? utterly st film and ruined the Countach with that stoopid front spoiler - sorry

always hated that for the stupid front wing.
I always assumed that the wing was a US market mandated bumper at a set height - like the MGB's had to suffer. Only a assumption and prepared to be wrong.

Looks a bit odd, granted. But love retained because of the gear changes: Slow, grouchy, done just right -aurally very exciting!

Christ I'm sad.

Would like to agree with the Blues Bros suggestion as well.

"...one used."
