I think that’s because they sell alcohol at the cinema now
But, honestly, I’ve not met anybody in real life who thought it was a good film!
But, as you say, it’s virtuality.
I know it’s the cinema, artistic licence and all that, but I think Bedknobs and Broomsticks was a better, and more realistic film about WW2
