I've only just stumbled across these.... and I'm obviously late to the party as there are about 500+ episodes already out there. So far I've listened to the ones that focus on weird stuff (UFOs, Bigfoot, Paranormal stuff) as I find it really interesting and enjoy the way that Joe is both interested but quick to question stuff.

Anyone else got any suggestions for episodes worth listening to? (at 1.5 - 3hrs each, I'm not likely to listen to all of them so want to cherry pick the best)

Cheers

JD

You're posting a lot today? .
Nope - did that annoying thing of getting in to work super early to get stuff done... only to get stuff dine up to a point where I'm now waiting on stuff from other people. Plus, I am in the enviable position where posting on PH counts as work... can't complain!

Great tips - thanks all. I also enjoy a bit of UFC, although I haven't watched it in a few years... might give them a listen. I like all the conspiracy theory type ones too, so any tips on ones like that are appreciated!

Thanks guys - listened to the Chris Harris one last night and the Rick Ross one this morning which was really good. Got the Jim Jeffries one lined up for tonight... I find him absolutely hilarious normally so I have high hopes!

nice one - I'll work my way through the ones you listed. I also listed to the Dr Stephen Greer #331 (UFO chap), Steve Volk #308 (debunking paranormal stuff...) and the Jeff Muldrum one (about big foot) is good too.

Suddenly my regular 2.5 hour drive home has got more pleasant!

This is great - all the recommendations have been brilliant so far. Will definitely give the Armstrong one a listen as I used to be a fan of his until the truth came out.

Got half way through one on the way home today. They are discussing psycodelics, floatation tanks and ancient civilisations.... So quite diverse but very interesting!

This is a man who doesn't think man landed on the moon yet when Chris Hadfield or Brian Cox turn up, the topic never arises. smile
That's weird, in an episode I listened to last week he was very much anti-conspiracy theories about the moon landings?!? (I am listening to them in a sporadic order though)

Top tip - thanks, I'll check that out.

I also listened to the Alex Winter one today (#633) about the deep web.... really enjoyed it, found it very interesting and am going to watch the documentary discussed in the episode.

Thanks to someone mentioning it above, I am halfway through, Joe Rogan Experience #725 - Graham Hancock & Randall Carlson.
Very very good, more so because I have just finished Graham's latest book, Magician of the Gods. Which has updated info on pushing back civilisation to much further than the accepted paradigm allows. Also with reasons that tie into why it went away, that funnily enough ties into climate change and the Younger Dryas Period.
Just got to the part in the podcast where Graham explains how the terms 'climatechnage-denier' and 'pseudo-scientist' are hurled as slurs to shut down any talk and ignore any avenues that lead away from the paradigm. One just has to go into the Science! forum righthere and see how posters use the pseudo-scientist attack. Most interesting.
Just got round to listening to this one... Just need a decent beech of pool holiday now so I can read the book. Found it extremely interesting!

The Neil degrasse Tyson episode I think he was referring to? That was a real let down tbh. I love ndgt and Joe wasn't great on that ep.
Which number?

OK, looks like there is only one. biggrin
310. biggrin

Louis Theroux been on again a few weeks back too.
I just listened to this and really enjoyed it - I like Louis anyway, and the topic was interesting too (all about his upcoming documentary on Scientology)

Well worth a listen! (Episode 835 by the way)

Episode 948, Eddie Bravo at his absolute best. Flat earth talk, and NASA telling porkies. Even powerful young Jamie got into it with EB.
Thanks for the recommendation - I'll listen to this tomorrow as I'm going to be in the car quite a lot!
