The DC TV 'Arrowverse' thread
Discussion
I know there are a fair few fans, so thought I'd start a thread to discuss Flash/Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow/Supergirl.
This is about the latest episodes in the US - so if you don't wear an eye patch and have a peg leg, don't read as there'll be spoilers!
For me, Arrow has been floundering for a while and this latest series just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
But Flash is really picking up pace and has long been my favourite, the current storyline with Savatar is good and the last ep with HR was a cracker too.
Legends really seems to be coming into its own now too, oddly though thanks to bringing in baddies from the other Arrowverse shows, Malcolm Merlin, Damien Dhark and Eobard Thorne. And this series was all the better for the lack of Rip Hunter, annoyingly they brought him back.
As for Supergirl, I watched a few of the first series but it never really caught my attention despite having the rather lovely (and fappening revealed) Melissa Benoit in it. Have watched the crossover episodes, but it was all a bit too 90210 for me. Have been told it has improved though so willing to give it a shot.

Yeah, I guess with Legends they had to do the first season to set it all up, now I'm really liking the additional characters and the fact that they can go a bit more 'off piste' with it.
I just really dislike the Rip Hunter character, which is odd as I loved him as Rory in Doctor Who. But Rip is just annoying, too overacted and especially annoying as 'Phil'.
I'm thinking they've done 'Phil' so RIp isn't as annoying comparatively when he returns next week, with a bit of Thorne tweaking....

Did you get a chance to watch ?
Not yet, will find time soon I'm sure.I heard that there's a SG/Flash crossover coming, that's going to be a musical episode (like the one in Buffy if you remember that) and was originally horrified by the prospect.
Then I read that both Benoit and Grant Gustin were both in Glee, so hopped on YT and by gum they can both sing bloody well!
It'll be a massive cheese-fest but at least they can sing unlike the Buffy cast.

How funny was the singing and end credits ? Especially with mick joining in , watched flash and still not impresssd which is such a shame it was my fav , only good thing... who is savitor? Wally?barry? Jay?
Yeah Flash is all getting a bit depressing, but it's just like Rocky when he gets beaten down He' needs to be down before he comes back stronger and beats Savitar. Who, I reckon, is Jay.
I know it isn't DC, but anyone else watching Iron Fist?
It's not great imo, the fight scenes are slow and clunky which is a shame. They need to watch Into the Badlands for an idea of how good fights can look.
Finn Wassisname isn't overly convincing as Danny either. Currently it's sub-Luke Cage for me.
