I was a bit surprised when Dec made a reference to Ant's attendance at an addiction clinic during the summer, basically taking the p*ss out of him. I found it funny, but I wonder if Ant did?
everyone is talking about if they didn't say anything it would blow up. Talking about it diffuses the situation so they move on. i think he must have a good relationship with the papers as you never here bad stuff and he still has a job, when other celebs have not been so lucky.

Ian is a curious chap. He has traits similar to a friend of mine with psych issues. Not convinced about game playing and does better when encouraged, like most people. He is a bit tall for some of those trials.
Iain's been pretty open about his mental health issues in the past - I'm not really sure it was a great idea for him to do this.

Looking forward to it, albeit with curiosity about how well Holly will work (the A&D segments make the show imo)

I wonder how Knowles will come across, I suspect there is a proper bellend lurking below the DIY SOS exterior

Poor form to quote myself but

Holly is brilliant, dare I say it works better?

On current viewing I owe Nick Knowles an apology

They are all in there for the same reason: The TV company offered them the opportunity to go on the show, and with that, money will have exchanged hands as payment for their appearance.

the bushtucker trials are not the whole part of the show either, and they've clearly demonstrated in the past how few of them actually revolve around eating the raw bugs etc. There's enough variety within the challenges to have something that fits all abilities, But usually the public vote tends to go for the person who has either been the biggest dhead, or the person they think will be the funniest at it, and I don't expect the person "excluded" would usually have been chosen for it anyway
This, I have never understood why people get so worked up, there are always group trials and challenges anyway

I suspect after seeing Anne's reaction the public would have given her a pass anyway, its always more fun if watching them being a bit scared/screamy vs actually terrorising/traumatising someone
