... There is an episode coming up with a lowered Land Rover and it'll be interesting to see if that's an idea they lay claim to? It was done years ago on Retro Rides...
https://www.performanceandclassiccars.com/copy-of-..."This is a one off and, as far as we know, one has never been slammed before, so very probably it is the only one in the world."
Anyone who knows how to initiate an internet search would beg to differ.

...I did enjoy that idiot American bloke ruining a perfectly good ZX10R then blaming the wiring (probably a shoddy rewiring job) when it didn't work. It said it all that he felt how it looked was more important than whether it actually worked.
I'm not sure what "Ant" brings to the bike customizations. Somebody else made the drawing, a different somebody else made the parts, and Ant bolted the bits together (and let the smoke out). And the result in no way evoked the spirit of AMA Superbike racing c.1980

Did I miss them saying what gearbox they used and if they upgraded the suspension or brakes ?
According to the "for sale" advert, 5-speed Tremec, Bilsteins, and Wilwood brakes. No mention of any additional support for the rear axle.https://www.performanceandclassiccars.com/copy-of-...
"...the "Muscle Car". Purchased because of superb condition of its body shell which had no welds anywhere and the original spot welds on the sills and arch edges, this 1985 Mk3 was the ideal base car. Front and rear ends were remodelled in steel, large GRP wheel arch extensions added and properly tubed. The headlights reworked to accommodate a bespoke alloy grill. Internally, the engine bay and gearbox tunnel were modified to accommodate the new engine and box. Finally with all body mouldings removed and smoothed out the car was painted in gloss black.
Suspension lowered, de-cambered single leaf rear springs, Bilsteins all round, 4 pot Willwoods with 310mm discs at the front, the disc braked rear axle uprated with LSD and 2 piece H/D half shafts. Huge 8x17 front and 10x17 rear wheels by Image were added, as was a bespoke PAS.
The single piece prop shaft is fed by a new Tremec 5 speed H/D manual gearbox which is driven by a new 5.0 Ford Mustang 32v Engine producing approximately 450 BHP with its bespoke management system. Bespoke exhaust manifolds feed a side exhaust.
Finally the interior has been fully re-trimmed in black, the seats in leather."
They left out a lot.

Wouldn't that Capri need to be inspected to get a legitimate MOT? Same question for Land Rover.
I assume that you meant legitimate registration, rather than legitimate MOT.I suppose it depends on whether the fact that the engine bay and gearbox tunnel were modified to accommodate the new engine and box means that the car has been "radically altered" as far as the DVLA is concerned.
I would hope not, but it's not something I'd write in a for sale ad.
FFS!
A 2 wheel drive monster truck.
The 60th anniversary of the Sportster illustrated with film of panhead Big Twins.
The awsomeness of flat track racing illustrated with comedy racing on a 374 yard stock car track in Norfolk rather than the real thing on an American mile. At least they illustrated the XR750 with an XR750. Pity about all the work RedMax put into the Sportster.
Cylinder linings? They're not curtains!
Why are they always too cheap to have the trim re-chromed?

I'm surprised they kept the original registration as looked like pretty much everything was brand new in the car.
The vehicle's identity is in the chassis or monocoque shell, and it's allowable to use "a new chassis or monocoque bodyshell of the same specification as the original".https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/rebuilt-ve...

I'm not a fan of his over enthusiastic presenting style but I'll dare bet he's a lot more knowledgeable than most of his knockers on here. I have to say that goblin works is absolutely rubbish tv though .
He's done well to keep it hidden here. Even the bit he did on Fifth Gear was devoid of any actual expertise. Odd given his knowledge. The whole faux deal at the end of each show is just pointless. It could have been a very different show had they left their egos and hipster ethos at home. Saying artizan repeatedly does not make you artizan.

He removed the head on a 100cc Honda engine and found a nut sat on top of the piston. He then said it was one of the valve adjustment nuts.
How would a valve adjustment nut get into the cylinder without someone dropping it through the spark plug hole?
Oddly there was no sign of head or piston damage and a light bore honing fixed it.
Either a woeful lack of knowledge or a woeful lack of telling the director to "ps off and don't be so stupid!". How would a valve adjustment nut get into the cylinder without someone dropping it through the spark plug hole?

Been watching it for a while and a lot of the work is plain shocking. Their trip to america had me shouting at the tv when they were talking about a stock impreza turbo engine only having 160bhp and paying 17k for an "upgraded" 200bhp lump, saying it was a good deal when imports were 210-270 as standard depending on spec.
The only reason I watch it now is for Helen as she has a cracking figure.
One did wonder why they didn't start with an imported JDM power train. The only reason I watch it now is for Helen as she has a cracking figure.

Just watched their new show, Goblin Mod Shop on Discovery +, and it wasn't too bad. They are still annoying, but the car, a mk1 Fiesta, was pretty good. It needed wider wheels (probably RS) and a front bumper, but otherwise surprisingly ok.
