A House Through Time BBC2
Discussion
Documentary series tracing the history of a Georgian town house (well, 1840, so early Victorian, but it looks Georgian) in Liverpool through the families who lived there.

I've found it fascinating.
I suppose it helps that it was a rather posh house when it was built, so the occupants left footprints in the form of businesses and wills and news items, but I wonder how they found a house that was occupied by so many interesting characters. It must have required a lot of research.

Second series will be a house in Newcastle upon Tyne.
