The Great Escape or any early James Bond
True - Thunderball must be a top ten I know a lot of war films were done to death in the seventies and eighties. I have sat through Bridge too Far, more times than I would like to admit.
Also - RED and SALT seem to be shown an unreasonable amount considering how individidually awful they are.
And I guess Transporter seems to get repeated a lot.

"Where Eagles Dare" was only released to the cinemas in 1969 - so it can't be included in a survey of films shown on TV for the past 50 years as it isn't 50 years old yet
Eric that makes no sense. In your opinion which film has been aired the most on British TV.
I agree there is an issue with recency, but let's face it its unlikely to be The Battleship Potekim, or even the Wizard of Oz, or Sound of Music.
