Way back, Grace was saying this was gonna have a different vibe, like a horror vibe and it looks like she was right.
Who woulda thunk that Heath Ledger would have a real contender for the role, and as she says, that this role could offer such opportunity.

It won top award at the venice film festival. Unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to watch it till next week!
I think the guardian is about as believable as the daily mash, though I don't know the other paper. There has been a bit of a media campaign against it in some quarters.

No. People are attempting (unsuccessfully) to tie it to the cinema massacre a few years ago, which took place during a Batman film. The director has a bullseye on his head after tweeting about the effect of woke culture in comedy, and the media in general have hated the rapturous applause this film got at film festivals and have tried everything to muck rake and sell copy.

I am into comic book films and batman. And the amount of 'easter eggs' throughout this film is excellent, as well as the references to Scorsese's work.

This is obviosuly a popular film now, and the rotten tomatoes score was originally over 90% with critics when it first came out, now it's around 60, but the audience score is 90...
Anyhoo, this film is uncomfortable, for various reasons, but it's success now gives further problems for WB going forward. Grace dissects the film and any possible 'sequel' in these two vids.
