That bit annoyed me too - they've had her in custody for what, a month or so? And plod's finest interrogators hadn't been able to get that tiny sliver of information out of her until Dave pitches up with his softly softly approach.

wasn't aimed at you, i only know as a guy i work with is applying. (Scotland Yard's C-Men). The other stuff i don't know but i don't automatically think it is bs.
