Sally4Ever - WTF Have I Just Watched?!?!
Discussion
I need a mind bleach.
I knew this was 'Dark' comedy but Jesus H Christ this is something I never thought I'd see on TV in the UK - No wonder the BBC turned it down they could see it would have set new records for letters of complaint.
Julia Davis is an awesome talent but who knew she could go to such depths of depravity in her search for the humourous
I thought the final 5 minutes of episode 1 were almost crossing the line but the final moments of episode 4 don't just cross the boundary they take a giant leap over it.
I'll bet Lena Headey who guest starred in this episode thought she'd set the bar with her incestuous sex scenes with her brother in Game of Thrones only to be taught what a really "out-there" scene is all about by Ms Davis.
Shocking stuff.

Based on the 'reviews' above I watched the first 2 episodes.
Funny as fk! Genuine LOL moments, loving it so far. Can't wait to watch the rest tonight.

We watched the first three last night. Some proper laugh out loud stuff and very dark. Loved it!
Please come back after you've watched the last scenes in episode 4...do not watch this with your kids or grand parents TwigtheWonderkid said:
A couple of good moments, but not nearly enough of them to justify some of those scenes. If you're going to make something that far out there, it needs to be hilarious, and it just isn't.
It's not meant to be hilarious, The Office wasn't hilarious. It's not that kind of humour.TwigtheWonderkid said:

Is all this secrecy to do with either kodi or iptv?
Both recommended! But with a VPN.
The secrecy is to do with not breaking any of PH's rules about posting links to sites that they might deem inappropriate and thus landing me with a telling off. Both recommended! But with a VPN.

her character is so annoying it grates on me which I'm sure is the desired effect.
If it doesn't grate on you then I'm not sure you're getting the entire 'cringe' effect.
I think that all the while you're watching you're meant to almost

JUst watched Camping, basically because of this thread/show. LOved it. I recall it being on but for some reason thought ANgus Deayton was in it and had a totally different idea of what it would be like. It was nothing like I expected, it was ace. Very good performances all round.
Looked for a thread, this was top.
Hunderby next?Looked for a thread, this was top.

Hunderby next?
I watched HUnderby when it was on, I recall being entertained but not enough for it to stick. I'll try it again. It was one series, right?I suppose Julia Davis has a good connection at Sky.

I see the US translation started last week, missed the first two so used my string connection to dload the first two.
Anyone watched it?
Tennent's doing an American accent, and Garner is affecting an accent too...it feels a tad stilted at the start, but it was the pilot.
Which series are they copying? Hunderby? Surely not Sally4Ever Anyone watched it?
