what series of books/comics should be "Netflixed"

as it says above what book (or series of books or comics) would you like to be given the HBO/Netflix treatment?

There are quite a few that spring to mind but two of the top ones would have to be:


Conan - R.E.Howard, 38 original books (plus more from other authors) so no need to have 'based on' or 'inspired by'.

The Drenei novels by David Gemmell


I'd imagine that Game of Thrones has shown that there is a market for well written 'adult fantasy' and (IMO) both of the above would be ripe for filming

Not sure what you mean by the bit in bold there?

I've often considered how great it would have been to have a full TV series of the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan books - I'm enjoying the new take on it certainly, but there was so much depth in the originals that wasn't able to translate over to the Hollywood 2-hour movie format.
in many cases all script writers seem to do is take the name and write some total bks which bears no resemblance to the source material (yes Dungeons and Dragons I'm looking at you! #stillbitter)
