DISCLAIMER: IT’S NOT WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE...PROPERTY BASED SERIES ONLY.

Wednesdays: 21:00 - 22:00

So... six couples are given 100K each to buy, do up & sell houses.
The ones who make the most profit over the course of a year... gets to keep the initial 100K investment.

I like George, knowledgeable & doesn’t pull any punches.
What could possibly go wrong. scratchchin

So George doesn't streak about in a twin turbo Callaway Corvette then? Shame.
I think George is more into campers & buses etc.

‘Findfixflog’... but with houses.

It would be uh-may-zing if you could tell me you're joking...
He did give the ‘bought unseen’ couple some good advice though.
Basically, “OK, listen you two dipsticks, don’t do that again...RIGHT!”

So...
Ricky & Andrew spend nearly all the budget actually doing up the house.

Janet & spend money on furnishings... but left a lot to be desired, showing some obvious shoddy repairs.
( I wonder what they were covering up though)

Decisions, Decisions...scratchchin
I would have gone for the better finished, unfurnished house.

WK3: Quiet week.
When I bought my first house, it took a month of cleaning & redecorating before actually moving in... & only lived ten minutes from my home address.
It had a decent fitted kitchen... bathroom was dated, but adequate.
No trades needed, just plenty of elbow grease.
Obviously... I wasn’t looking for a quick flip.

I don’t know if I would want to buy a house to do up so far from home, in an unknown market.
All that travelling time wasted & with rising fuel costs to factor in too.
Even if friends or family members are helping, I’m sure that they wouldn’t want to keep travelling those distances.
You would also have to employ unknown trades people.

I suppose £100K, to include any renovations isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of things. scratchchin
It will be interesting to see what happens when they buy their second properties.
