"Sherwood" - BBC1 drama series

This isn't my usual viewing, but I'll give it a go....
Only got my attention by it's title, an area I moved to in 2018...!

I like the way that we know who the murderer is so early in the series... What interests me is the historic links between families, the tensions/division within, the local police and the Met during the strike onwards.. Spy cops and cover-ups a plenty...

I only moved into Nottinghamshire 4 years ago, so haven't been around here long enough to recognise the areas used for filming.
Would be nice to know from those more familiar of the area...

What I do recognise, is how hot Joanne Froggatt is...!
