Anyone caught this?
Started a few weeks ago and I gave it a chance, has Timothy Olyphant in it. It's a US federal marshal who returns to his stinky hometown in Kentucky. The main character is nuanced, doesn't feel like the typical US hero type. There is a nice humour aboot it. It's stuck on the Five USA channel on Wednesday's (dead zone) but I am glad I found it. It's not top tier but it is a good solid B show.

Second series just finished.
This show just gets better.
It's a crime that Five stick it in the outer reaches on Five USA.

Just read that series three has already aired in the US, checked 5, no mention of it, they are showing the first series again.
Doh.

SoA, that's one on my list, but I need to watch it from series 1, ep 1.

First episode was on last night.
Cracking opening to the series, absolutely loved his tablecloth trick, not what I was expecting but very inventive/amusing.

This show keeps getting better.

Nuanced acting, great storyline and pace. Can't tell where the story is going to go next. This is in the A class for me now.biggrin

I was only going to post about this last night (only seen penultimate ep though, not the last).
I almost can't believe how the plot changes and twists, the curve balls. You think it'll go one way, and it doesn't, but then it doesn't go the new way either. The complex changing means you really have to play attention. It equals Game of Thrones and Braquo in realistic character reactions which lead to natural plot changes imo.
The way it had several different groups all vying for a goal in the penultimate episode was a treat, I love it when scriptwriters did that, and then there was one curve ball and another so the bank heist never happened but everyone still got to their goals.
Quarrles has to be one of the better characters of this year to emerge anywhere.

I'll second that. He's unbelievably likeable despite being a complete .
I know, and he isn't a perfect unbeatable bad guy either, he is quite flawed and gets stuff wrong as well. Very well written and acted character.
Starting to like Wynn Duffy as well.biggrin

Wasn't that fantastic ! Great finale.

And a new series has been commissioned !
Watched it!
Yeah, again the twists make it riveting.
The denouement for Quarrles and the Marshall was amazing, and it made me look at Limehouse in a new light as well. Not in the same company as Boyd and the rest.
And that chop was unexpected and amazing.biggrin

Seen a few adverts for this.
Reread the last few posts, I had forgotten how ace it had gotten, with Quarrels and the rest.

Sad it gets dumped on Channel 5 US.

That would be good. It is a show that gets better as it goes on, and it started off pretty good to begin with. Raylan and Boyd are great characters.

Maybe it's on the Channel 5 version?

I was beginning to think Channel 4 were the biggest bunch of useless s as far as telly companies go, but C5 is close.

Excellent. About time. C5 are annoyed a bit with this. This series has already aired in the US and C5 are way behind the curve.
C5 are fkwits, I hope Sky understands how popular this show could be and takes it.

This series hasn't grabbed me like the last one, there doesn't seem to be an overriding arc, save for that thing in the wall.

Quarrels and the banker are sorely missed.
