Ok,

This is coming on Channel One (ex-virgin) "soon".

Anyone have any more info as to how soon this will be? I am dying to see if this series is as good as the one when I was a child.

Hmm, this does not bode well. I guess if it is poor then I will give up on it quickly enough..... WHEN it finally starts on CH1 that is!

Stateside, I assume? I'll be heading straight over to the usual places first thing on tuesday morning then .... along with getting my weekly fix of "The Event" (which is shaping up to be quite intriguing).

No it will be Channel 1 (as in the old Virgin) and I "think" it will be the 1st series......

I thought it was well worth it. I can't wait to see how it gets on (if you saw the 80s series then it seems to me like they are making similarities with characters etc BUT are also making cool changes).....

Yes it was quite fast paced but I think it was simple enough to track what was happening (though I wondered how well I would have coped had I not seen the 80s original)....
