Unfortunately the only UK site reporting this seems to be everyone's favourite daily.

What a cold bd. Yes he can defend his home but he recorded the audio of when he shot them.

Hell of a case. Gruesome.

A few posters have mentioned the time taken to call the authorities and described it as 'not on'.

I completely agree that the bloke sounds like a lunatic and went way over to the top (sounds like he enjoyed it!) but what's the significance of him taking a day to call it in?

I'm assuming they weren't going to get any more dead so having killed them, taking a day to notify the authorities seems like a fairly irrelevant point to get hung up on, unless I'm missing something?
You can't be fking serious.

The audio is on Liveleak, I won't link because it makes for very grim listening, especially the girl.

Very interested to know what the "shoot 'em dead with no warning crowd" thinks the sentence should be if any?

On the other hand it is VERY weird that the guy recorded the whole thing let alone not delete it and then let the police have it. Who would do that?

Of course they'll give the stock "nutjob" response but conspiracy theory anyone? For the whole thing being set up to give bad press to gun owners and try to render it illegal for people to have guns and fight back, more government control etc etc

Just so strange about the audio.

I've not listened to the audio, but read some background on the case. A friend of the perp indicated that he was so paranoid about burglars that he started an audio recording every day in order to pick up any intruders in his home. When none were there he deleted it and restarted it - every morning.
