Noel Edmunds thinks so - and certainly our infrastructure is lagging well behind the population, but the bit that really got me was the quote from Widdicombe..
They are our borders, why the fk aren't we in control of them?

Former Shadow Home Secretary and Daily Express columnist Ann Widdecombe said: “There is certainly no denying that we are an overcrowded island, that is why there is such pressure on our health service, housing and transport. You can control immigration, not just say ‘we are full up and that is the end of it’. We are not in control of our borders but we can control it somewhat better.

Full, really?
Majority of our dwellings are 2 story, plenty of people have several spare bedrooms, and we are surviving on Victorian rail and under funded roads.
If HS2 means Birmingham will be 1 hour from London, why is it 1 hour from Merthyr Tydfil to Cardiff!?
When you have to manage flow on your motorways, your infrastructure is not keeping, up, so on that basis, yes we are full.Majority of our dwellings are 2 story, plenty of people have several spare bedrooms, and we are surviving on Victorian rail and under funded roads.

The Sunday Times mentions today in an article about illegal sub letting at the Grenfell tower that illegal migration was believed to be 150,000 last year and will not have been included in the official 1/2 million increase in the population.
Which may be why there are a number of unofficial population estimates that are millions higher than the governments own figure.
The supermarkets know: everyone needs food, how much are they selling, collectively...?Which may be why there are a number of unofficial population estimates that are millions higher than the governments own figure.
