Mr Mckeague turned right into a loading bay area, known as the "Horseshoe", behind Greggs, at 03:25 BST.
The area is closed off by buildings and the rooftops have been searched and analysed by police.
It has been proven that an individual cannot leave the area on foot without being seen on CCTV, but Mr Mckeague was not caught on camera again.

Bin was too light according to the sensor. Though the phone would appear to have been in the bin, so it's possible the scales were wrong.
Sewers?
What chance the bin scales being wrong?Sewers?
Or his phones in the bin but he's somewhere else? Over the roof?
Or has he climbed onto the bin truck to get a lift back?

If he was a missing doctor, would you have posted the thread in the "Medical" forum?
If he had been a missing chef, would you have posted the thread in the "Food" forum?
Yes probably - especially as its been in and out the news so long - it does seem we're not being told somethingIf he had been a missing chef, would you have posted the thread in the "Food" forum?
Surprised too that Honington is still active
Leave it here for a day or so then move across?

I read the BBC article this morning and when I read that they didn't check the lorry or landfill I was shocked - that seemed like such an oversight!
so obvious as if they know something else?Suppose he's tagged a lift on the lorry, jumped/fallen off but left his phone on it? How much checking have they done along the route?
How long did the phone stay at the landfill site before the battery ran out half day later? or did it lose signal straight away?
Are we sure he's an airman or a special forces gone underground?

If he's known to have entered this horseshoe area, and definetly does not leave it by any other method such as on foot,, then he must be in one of the vehicles seen leaving the area.
iliminate the vehicles, and what's left is the answer.
What's the deal with the other vehicles leaving the area? Surely there must be a way of finding out who drives in and or out of the area. If none of them have a connection, the answer is going to be the waste truck.
A cadaver dog at the waste site might be the answer.

1. It was him going in to the horseshoe
2. he didnt find another way out
3. he's not still there
anyone got a google streetmap link?

I'm fully in agreement that the landfill would be my search focus but I did read that Reddit link above which reckons the waste lorry collected paper recyclables which were hand sorted and therefore by then although they may have missed a 'phone they would not have missed him.
We need miss marple just to find out why the police didnt go to the tipIf the paper sorters missed the phone wouldnt that mean the guy may have been hiding on the truck somewhere?
Why not try to find the phone anyway? Or did someone else say the phone jumped off the truck just before the landfill - why were they putting paper in landfill?
Do they think he put the phone on the truck as a distraction while he's gone walk about
A lot more in here
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-38457...
There were 4 vehicles that entered the horseshoe
A vehicle was set on fire
What is facebook live?
Typical cctv image

That's hopeless https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.2466237,0.712774...
There are are three roads in a number of fire escapes - anyone going in there could choose any number of ways of getting out
Do they think he's gone underground, chosen a new life and chucked his phone in the bin?
A site map has been posted up
Apparently the cctv camera does a scan every 3 minutes so he could have made an exit after all.

He was seen walking into a dead-end loading bay area known at the "horseshoe" but did not come out again.
Is that still believed to be true?kiethton said:

What a lovely thing for that particular child to find out later in life.
It's always happened that children may not have the father that's brought them up but no-one ever knew. With everything up front on social media, everyone knows. Is it a game of russian roulette on those sites? Whoever you get pregnant with is the one who foots the maintenance - so long as everyone knows

They've decided to search the landfill site now

How are they going to do it?
Push a pole in the ground at regular intervals? or dig up the whole lot?
