Will there really be another 5 or six weeks of this? It's already been simmering for months.

Is the point to distract the great British monarchist and patriot from the traditional summer riot?
I wouldn't have had them down as the likely culprits and it's more likely to drive everyone else nuts.

I can't believe it's all still going strong on the TV and in the press - and we still haven't reached the anniversary!

Not even the most ardent of royalists could still be enjoying this - surely only wall-climbing nutjobs are the only ones still interested?

Maybe the plan is to make everyone thoroughly sick of the royals - it's working!
